I love this, my subscription to First Things was already canceled and running to its expiry, so I have $$ to pledge. I love the history aspect of this. I seem to be devouring history books lately.
First Things was becoming too “pop culture”; movie reviews of movies I would never be dumb enough to watch, light analysis on some things that should have been deeper. We have so many choices now, I want to spend my $$ reading people I learn something from.
Best wishes and prayers for your endeavor!
Thank you, John.

All of us, to be better, have to live more in the past, insofar as they were better then. That's my view.
I canceled my subscription as well last year. Just curious, what made you do so?
I found it was getting away from its mission and kept invited non-Christian views.

I cancelled my subscription to First Things years ago. ACQR promises to be the real thing.
Excellent!
Words cannot express how good this is. Thank you.
We request your prayers.
